Danny has been a part of rugby through coaching in grassroots in the Premier level to Team Managing at Super Rugby level and has been linked to Marist for the club's quest for a championship.

Shalom is an Auckland Marist old boy and has reconnected with the club as the Premier's forwards coach. He brings a wealth of rugby knowledge which he will look to implement to the senior outfit.

Club Resource Coach | John Akurangi

Akurangi was born in Hastings and is an old boy of St Peter's College, Auckland.

A NZ Maori representative front-rower, Akurangi was in the Auckland Blues squad the won the inaugural Super 12 competition in 1996, before stints with the Crusaders and Chiefs. He played professional rugby overseas at Stade Français and SU Agen during the 1990s, then had a season with the Leicester Tigers in 1999–00.
