Emerald Club

The "Emerald Club" is determined that Marist Brother's Old Boys Rugby Football Club Inc. will continue to be successful.

We all are acutely aware that for the Marist Brother’s Old Boys Rugby Football Club Inc. to survive as a leading rugby brand within the Auckland Rugby Football Union that it needs to have an ability to attract and maintain not only quality players, but sufficient numbers to allow it to enter competitive teams in all the signature grades of the ARFU competitions.

The "Emerald Club", conceived in response to the need for having a supporting financial resource that allows the Marist Brother's Old Boys Rugby Football Club to implement initiatives is specifically designed to assist in the development of rugby only programmes such as:
1.    Recruitment of Players and Coaches,
2.    Retention of Players and Coaches, and
3.    Development of Players and Coaches.

Members of the "Emerald Club" will be informed of all intended activity and initiatives on a regular basis through a number of avenues such as:
1.    Weekly Club "Newsletters"
2.    "Social Gatherings" on "Home Game" Days at Mount Wellington War Memorial Reserve in Auckland's Point England.

Funds raised will be allocated to those programmes that are deemed to be the most appropriate and will be under the governance of a selected group of club members who will be free of any conflict of interest. Allocations of funds will be communicated directly to "Emerald Club" members on a regular basis. For example,  the "Emerald Club" funds the after-match functions and dinners accorded to the First Fifteens of Sacred Heart, St Peters, De La Salle, St Paul’s and Marcellin Colleges as well as sponsor the Club player selected in the New Zealand Marist Colts team and runs the Marist Players Academy.

We have set a target to have a further 70 supporters signed up as members by the end of this 2010 season and would like you to assist by taking up the option of paying the annual subscription of $240.00. You might even sign up some of your old team mates/supporters from years gone.

If you are also determined to cause the Club that has been a significant part to your life to have the same impact upon others then you are enacouraged to be actively involved and you can also do this through being a member of the "Emerald Club".

Complete the application form below and email it to dest@iprolink.co.nz.

Again thank you for your interest and we look forward to welcoming you as a member of our Club.
